Sooners grab two more Soutmoore commitments

Multiple outlets are reporting that University of Oklahoma have officially offered scholarships to Southmoore's Kendall Thompson, a junior quarterback, and Austin Haywood, a senior tight end and defensive end, to join the Sooners football team.

Okvarsity.rivals.com is reporting the duo have committed to play for the Sooners. Julian Wilson, a Southmoore senior, committed to play for the Sooners earlier this year.

Oklahoma head coach Bob Stoops along with quarterbacks coach Josh Heupel, offensive coordinator Kevin Wilson, and recruiting coordintar Bobby Jack Wright were spotted at the Southmoore game last week when Southmoore took down cross town rival Moore 58-14.

Thompson is the son of former OU quarterback Charles Thompson and Haywood was a move-in from Anadarko.

Southmoore goes for the 6A-1 district title this week when they take on the Mustang Broncos.

Oral commitments are non-binding with Signing Day in early February for seniors.
