East Central gained 347 rushing yards on 48 attempts, led by the powerful running of Jaimon Gilstrap and the speedy Chakeal Armstrong, en route to a 31-7 thumping of the Pryor Tigers in the opening round of the Class 5A state playoffs at East Tulsa Sports Complex.
Gilstrap rushed for 174 yards on 19 carries and one touchdown. Armstrong finished with 17 carries for 132 yards and three touchdowns.
