Curious as to why Cox did not pick up the Guthrie/Carl Albert game this year? It seems to have been a staple to make the cut.
Obviously. its not because of the rivalry, or stadium. KSBI, however, is happy about it.
KSBI had a few options to go with assuming Cox was going to pick up the Jays and Titans, but when they found out Cox was not carrying the game they quickly dumped the other suggested games and picked it up the the Jays/Titans along with the Ardmore game.

Seems like Cox is only the "Tulsa area game of the week" and KSBI is the "OKC game of the week."
Cox generally does one Tulsa and one OKC game a week (not this week). KSBI generally does the OKC area, but will also do smaller schools besides 6A. Heritage Hall lives on TV, but its easier to get advertising from certain schools.
