The Guthrie BlueJay Cross Country team continues to show some dominance in the 2009 season by competeing in five team races and winning all five, including this past weekend in Shawnee at the Bison Invitational.The Ogan brothers, Jason, Jared, and Jon, are a big part of that along with Zac Cates, Colin Betchan, and Hunter Sallee.
Guthrie will attempt to win their six state title later this year in Edmond. 1994 was the last season Guthrie captured the title and was lead by Justin Bumgardner that season.
Unfortunately, and very surprising, the Lady Jays have just one runner this season and luckily enough Rachel Roberts is a top runner in the state. She may not win a team title this year, but has a shot at making All-State.
