The Guthrie BlueJay Cross Country team is on a roll after winning their first two meets of the 2009 season.
Jason Ogan won the Guthrie run (second year in a row) and finished second in the Weatherford run.
The Jays will compete for the 5A title after finishing third last year. The race will be in Edmond once again this season.
More surprising to me this season is that there is just one female runner for GHS. Sure, she is one of the tops in the state (Rachel Roberts), but one runner at a program like Guthrie?
Not like Gary Boxley and Clay Tarter did not go searching for female runners up and down the hallways. Just hope this is not a trend for next season.
