The Shattuck Indians won their 91st consecutive 8-man game in Class C football with a win over Goodwell this past Friday passing Morrison's 90-game streak, or did they?
Morrison's last lost before the 90-game winning streak started up was against Class A's Crescent Tigers, an 11-man team, but had a 27-game streak in 8-man before that. If you were to throw that "middle" game out with Crescent, Morrison would have a winning streak of 117-games in 8-man football.
So, who has the real streak: Shattuck or Morrison?
My vote is for Morrison!

That won't even be in the discussion by the end of next season. These guys could take De La Salle's record off the boards before they're done.
Wouldn't that have meant that Morrison won the 1987 State Championship? The OSSAA website states that Welch won Class B and Kremlin-Hillsdale in Class C.
I say keep the streak going and take down De La Salle. It would mean a lot more since De La Salle has far more resources to collect wins.
As far as the Morrison win's, I was told 117 by a former Morrison player during that time. He was not 100% on 117, but thought it to be 117.
However, you would be right for it to be 117 they would have need that '87 title. Perhaps it's 107?
We can agree on this though. When you look it up in the record books it says Shattuck for the longest winning streak.
