Thinking Out Loud

My first analysis of the Guthrie/Bishop McGuinness game that comes to my mind is not who is going to start at quarterback for either team, but inside the trenches.

The Irish will have four new offensive linemen and will have to face the front seven of the Jays. The new faces on the Irish O-line may be a good group by the end of the year, but a tough way to start the season.

Even more tough with McGuinness running old school football plays. It works well for them because they execute so well even though it is not a very flashy offense.

LaRone Richardson is a talent at running back and is awfully quick if he does get past the front seven.
