The 2009 Guthrie BlueJay Cross Country won the 5A State title, Saturday afternoon, at Mitch Park, in Edmond.The Jays finished with a team low 43 points. Deer Creek came in at second with a score of 58 points. There is more information at GuthrieSportsPage.com.

Coach Clay Tarter won his seventh cross country state title, including six on the boys side. The GHS Hall of Famer added a Track and Field State title last May. The first in GHS history for the track program.
